1.DNA合成研究 :dUMP 是胸苷酸合成酶(TS)催化反應(yīng)的直接底物,研究其代謝可以揭示 DNA 合成調(diào)控機(jī)制。
2.抗癌藥物開(kāi)發(fā): dUMP 是抗癌藥物(如 5-氟尿嘧啶,5-FU)的靶標(biāo)之一。5-FU 是一種嘧啶類似物,其代謝物會(huì)與 dUMP 競(jìng)爭(zhēng)胸苷酸合成酶,從而抑制 DNA 合成,導(dǎo) 致癌細(xì)胞死亡。
